Even though
trains are loud
I find them quite fascinating
and slightly beautiful
in an obscure kind of way
To think we still use
a type of machine
that was the first to exist
after a boat
And there’s something kind of nice
about the repetitive sound
of the train running over its tracks
and the sound of the engine
as it chugs on strong
and forward
