My perky little Asian friend
Whose hair is lightish brown
Crochets little characters
And knits just for fun.

And so because she is so perky
And happy
And oh-so very smiley
She asked for a heart felt message in her yearbook
Cause she said I am a writer
So in her yearbook I wrote a note
Something short and sweet
Because after all
Good things come in small packages.

But to her, it wasn’t long enough
So she requested something more
And she requested whatever it was that I posted it here
So I said I’ll write her a poem
And here it is, just for you
